Dr. Numb is Doctor Most Recommended Cream an OTC (Over-the-Counter) Topical Anesthetic Cream (commonly known as numbing cream) that contains 5% lidocaine. It produces temporary numbness or loss of sensation of the skin and its surrounding tissues after its application. It is primarily used for relief of pain associated with skin conditions and dermal procedures including:

WHAT IS IN DR. NUMB?

Active: Lidocaine Excipients: Carbopol, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Propylene glycol, and Purified water.

HOW OFTEN CAN IT BE APPLIED?

Adults and children at least 2 years of age:

Apply to affected areas not more than 3 to 4 times daily.

For children under 2 years old, consult a physician.

Conditions that require dose adjustments:

Elderly patients Acutely ill patients Patients with severe liver and kidney disease Patients treated with other anesthetic or certain anti-arrhythmic drugs.

HOW SHOULD IT BE ADMINISTERED?

  • Wash the area with soap and water.
  • Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
  • Apply the cream and gently massage it into the skin evenly.
  • Leave it on with an occlusive dressing.
  • It should start to take effect within 10-15 minutes and fully numb the skin within 30-60 minutes after it is applied.
  • Wipe the excess cream. Perform additional skin preparation as necessary.

WHEN SHOULD YOU NOT USE DR.NUMB CREAM Doctor Most Recommended Cream?

Do not use Dr.Numb if:

 allergic to lidocaine, any other “-Caine” type anesthetics or any of the non-medicinal ingredients in the product.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF DR. NUMB CREAM AND WHAT TO DO ABOUT THEM?

Like any other medicines, Dr. Numb cream may result in side effects for certain people. The most common side effects are irritation, redness, itching or rash. Although these side effects usually do not require medical attention, if they continue or are bothersome, report them to your doctor or healthcare professional.

The skin area where Dr. Numb is applied may stay numb for several hours. Due to the absence of skin sensation, protect the skin from injuries. If any side effect bothers you, or if you experience any unusual effect while you are using Dr. Numb, stop using it and check with your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible.

Allergic reactions to the active ingredients have been seen but rare. Watch out for itching, hives, burning, stinging sensation or any other skin problems, swelling of neck area or any difficulty of breathing not present before using DR.NUMB.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OVERDOSED?

Medicines affect different people in different ways. If any side effects bother you, or if you experience any unusual effects while you are using DR.NUMB stop using it. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Early signs of include: numbness of the lips and around the mouth, lightheadedness, dizziness, unusual taste, ringing in the ears and blurred vision. In the event of serious overdose, seizures, low blood pressure, slowed breathing and irregular heartbeats may occur.

WARNING

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. 

Avoid contact with eyes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water. If conditions worsen or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again in within few days, discontinue use and consult a physician. Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas.

HOW SHOULD DR. NUMB BE STORED?

Always keep the tube tightly closed. Store at temperatures not exceeding 15°C – 30 °C. Protect from freezing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
